The Rapid Air/Swept (RAS) Dryer

The RAS Dryer is capable of drying a wide range of materials from solids and pastes to slurries with moisture content in the high 90’s down to below 1% moisture – in one single rapid pass! In addition because the dwell time within the dryer is well under one minute, material degradation is minimal with very low dry material exit temperatures. The dryer can mix and grind/de-lump at the same time and is designed and built for many years of continuous operation. The air heater system can employ a range of fuels, plus reclaimed waste dry heat and accommodates different mounting options.

The Air Fluidised Trough (AFT) Dryer

The AFT Dryer is capable of drying a wide range of friable, granular, flaked or other ‘formed’ material on the fluid bed principle, but without the low energy efficiency, high air volumes and hygiene problems associated with conventional flat deck fluid bed and band dryers. In principle the AFT Dryer is an agitated fluid bed dryer, however because of a unique U-shaped drying chamber, together with a specially designed rotor, it ensures that product degradation is minimal and an innovative ‘nose’ screen ensures that the hot air is evenly distributed without the risk of screen blockage. The result is super-efficient fluid bed drying with low airflow, high-energy efficiency, and variable drying temperature zones if required and total control over the drying process.
