Below you will
find a number of questions, designed to allow us to give the feedback you require,
to supply real solutions using advanced dewatering technologies at any
particular location, where the reduction of moisture content will play a
critical part in the future profit or loss of a disposable waste stream. This
will include an indication of capital and operating costs, along with pay back,
to turn an environmental liability (sludge and slurries) into a profit source
from the sale of the end by-product to a wider market place.
HOW TO TURN AROUND A COST FOR
DISPOSAL OF THE WASTE INTO A PROFIT FROM ITS SALE
Assumptions:
1US Ton = 2000 lbs = 907 Kgs; 1 Metric Tonne = 1000 Kgs = 1.1025
US Tons;
1 Mega Watt = 1000
Watts = 1 Kilo Watt; State Exchange Rate
Used to convert to US$
·
The annual tonnage of sludge and
slurries produced?
·
The quantities and types of sludge
and slurries produced e.g. de-inking, recycling?
·
The present percentage of solids
currently produced and/or moisture content?
·
The percentage of solids ideally
required (depending on end use)?
·
What is the end use or disposal at
present of the solids?
·
Indicate what it could be used for,
as we are working with other industries to enable commercial disposal?
·
What is the power cost in US$ per
KW/H?
·
Do you have a dry weight BTU value
for the mixed sludge?
·
What is the estimate of power value
in KW/H from burning the sludge?
·
What does it cost to evaporate 2,000
lbs of water?
·
Using your present processes, what
would be the environmental impact of doing nothing?
·
What are the present process type(s) being
used and a breakdown of the present operating costs for dealing with the sludge
and slurries, by process type?
·
What are the alternative options and
different costs?
·
Do you have any preconceived issues
associated with the technology and or the contractual process?
·
Do you have additional thoughts as to
what you want covered in the pre-feasibility study?
·
Is there other information that may
be relevant?
All information supplied is treated in absolute
