Welcome to our latest environment news!
Martin Parr will be speaking on Waste to energy at
the 2008
Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition (2008
MIECF) in April. The three-day event seeks to
support sustainable economic and social development in the region and in
China through promotion of green enterprises and to establish Macao as a
bridge connecting the Chinese mainland and other countries, for technology
exchange and international co-operation in environmental protection..
Non-Thermal Dewatering & Drying of Sludge Sludge is an unavoidable waste product from many differing industries, including the growing ethanol industry, and finding new ways to improve waste treatment and minimisation is vital. Here we have a technology that not only dries biomass efficiently and economically, without adverse effect on the environment, but also provides a saleable end product in many cases.... more
Geothermal Energy - A Limitless Stock of Energy We are surrounded by inexhaustible energy resources that should allow us to meet our energy needs and that of future generations without taking uncontrollable risks with the life and well-being of our planet. The technology exists to make use of these energy sources and on a scale to meet the requirements and demands of our modern civilisation. A single technology, a single renewable energy can never meet our demands alone. Each alternative energy has its advantages and disadvantages, but, used in combination, the world's renewable energy sources have a chance to meet the demand.... more
Water, Water Everywhere but not Enough to Drink! Dwindling water supplies and water quality issues are growing problems around the world. What can be done to redress this balance? We can offer a range of technologies based entirely on environmentally friendly processes, with minimal or no use of chemicals as used in traditional treatments. Solutions can be provided to most water and wastewater problems using some of the most innovative and up to date technologies that are designed to not harm the environment.... more
It is now possible to take almost anything and everything and turn it into energy. There is no need for high capital investment in out-dated ethanol production plants; all plant life and non-volatile solid waste can be cost-effectively converted to direct liquid and gaseous energy in commercial quantities.... more
It gets better and better. Not only can we produce the lowest cost ethanol but, with new technology, we can offer a greater diversity of choice, including the production of direct energy from any plant life or non-volatile solid waste. The world's waste problems can now feed our energy needs.... more
New Electricity Sources give Power to the People Following on from the previous news item on ethanol, MPCEE announces innovative steps to bring "power to the people"; electricity and potable water to the people that really need it and in an affordable and sustainable way. What seemed a long way away yesterday is here today to ensure our future. We have the solutions to make it happen.... more
Martin Parr outlines how MPCEE is working with different technologists to be able to (a) produce commercial quantities of ethanol economically from new varieties of biomass instead of food chain crops, as well as solid waste, (b) to produce hydrogen gas from ethanol in commercial quantities and (c) to use fuel cells in everyday use. This initiative will be particularly attractive to countries seeking local ethanol production and an income source for their economy.... more
Opportunities in Recycling and Disposal of Drums & Plastic Containers With more and more emphasis being placed upon the importance of recycling, MPCEE introduces new business opportunities with the foremost manufacturer of drum recycling equipment to enable you to take advantage of the growing market for waste management and recycled and resalable by-products. Please take a moment to read further to understand what these systems, including cryogenics, can offer you and your clients.... more
Organic Waste to Energy: Taking a Lead in the Environmental Field MPCEE brings you the world's most efficient and cost-effective technology for the continuous processing of organic waste materials, even toxic waste, into saleable products, including methane gas (the main constituent of natural gas) and high quality liquid and solid fertilizers. Producing energy from organic waste is not new, but no other waste digestion system provides the “first-in first-out” flow pattern or the rigid control of the digestion process that achieves the purity of its outputs.... more |
