GENERAL ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS REQUISITES

COURSE NAME: GEARS

This course is designed as a scene setter for all management and staff employees who, in undertaking their normal functions, may precipitate or prevent pollution of the environment.

A course of a half-day duration designed to bring to the attention of all staff, an in depth awareness of how to protect the environment, within the daily operations of an industrial or commercial business.

COURSE CONTENT:

On completion of GEARS, management and staff will be able to identify and associate themselves with the possible hazards surrounding their own working environment. Delegates will have a basic understanding of spill management and environmental management systems, which would enable them to identify appropriate personnel for selection to attend higher levels of instruction in pollution control.

The course can be held on your premises or in a hotel conference room, with the basic requirements of conference table, or tables that can be placed together, chairs, overhead projector, blackboard or dry-wipe board.

Training manuals are included in the course for each delegate.

Delegates will be issued with a certificate confirming participation in the course.
