DEWATERING TECHNOLOGIES

MPCEE has been engaged by leading global manufacturers of dewatering, drying and desalinisation technologies to spearhead their respective further interests in a global market. The brief is to discuss with specific industries our principal’s proven technology, where it can assist in the economical reduction of sludge and slurries, where current technology is unable to do so. We consider the issues of environmental protection and pollution control are as important as reducing operating costs.

To allow for the multitude of different industrial uses that differing technologies can be used for, it is important that you tell MPCEE what you are looking for. Thereafter, it is possible to discuss in detail which technology is best suited and the economics for building and operating it. This is particularly relevant because of recent changes/amendments to environmental legislation and regulation covering contaminated land, waste management and IPPC. MPCEE will discuss with potential end users and others, the viable economical possibilities for dealing with and disposing of sludge and slurries from their operational environments.

It may well be that one type of technology may not be suitable for the operational environment that it is intended for. However, in order that MPCEE may present the right technology for these needs, information is required to identify, for example, quantities of wet tonnes per annum to pass through the technology, the percentage solids required, along with operating costs for current disposal etc.

As the ramification of introducing new technology will also affect all operations, where there is a need to substantially reduce the capital and operating costs associated with the disposal of the sludge and slurries, a pre-feasibility study will be necessary in this process of identification, based on the answers to a series of questions. The link below will take you to the questions page, which lists the required information:

Information Required?

This information will allow an understanding of your present operating methods and the costs involved, in order to undertake a pre-feasibility study to assist you to compare and highlight future cost savings and profit

The following links will give you the basis of the technology used, which would be adapted to the particular processes functioning at your plant:

Thermal Phase Separation) Technology - TPS

TPS technology has a proven record of superior performance in treating hydrocarbon-contaminated soils, sludge, sediments etc with a very low water content. This is NOT a method of incineration

Rapid Air/Swept (RAS) Dryer

The RAS Dryer is capable of drying a wide range of materials from solids and pastes to slurries with moisture content in the high 90’s down to below 1% moisture – in one single rapid pass

Pulverizing Air Dryer (PAD)

PAD is a high speed air jet, which facilitates the complete economic drying of sludge and slurries etc for optimal commercial gain with a capital advantage of 5-1 and its energy cost advantage of 15-1

Other Waste Treatment Technologies

The importance of the recycling and treatment of organic wastes can be found in the international requirement to have safe, secure and clean technology in the methods used. Technology tested and proven and currently used in Space is now available for Terrestrial use. Click for an important offer.
